We’re looking for a strategic, driven, and mission-aligned Head of Sales to lead our go-to-market efforts and help us scale. This role is critical to expanding our footprint, building key partnerships, and positioning BUDS as a leader in the digital health space.

Job Summary:

The Head of Sales will oversee the execution of sales and go-to-market activities and is responsible for developing the vision and implementing the plan that will achieve proper market recognition, company revenue targets and growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of Sales will have proven leadership and strategic thinking skills, and will have a hands-on, action-oriented approach that fits well with the entrepreneurial, fast-paced culture of our company

Responsibilities:

  • Help build and execute a bold, data-driven go-to-market strategy that aligns with our growth goals and market analysis.
  • Own and evolve our full sales pipeline—from lead gen to closed-won.
  • Build metrics-driven sales forecasting, pipeline management, and board-ready reporting frameworks.
  • Help craft a cohesive marketing plan that amplifies our brand and boosts market share.
  • Partner with product and ops to align messaging, launch strategies, and customer experience.
  • Level up our playbooks: improve or build new sales/marketing ops and workflows.
  • Keep your finger on the pulse of the market, customer behavior, and competitive trends.
  • Be a champion of customer success—anticipating needs and turning feedback into fuel.
  • Represent the company at conferences, demos, and events—our front-line storyteller.
  • Set and track clear KPIs to keep the team focused, aligned, and winning.
  • Collaborate with leadership to establish an industry and product advisory panel to ensure ample voice of customer in business and product decision making.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in Sales (preferably in SaaS or digital health); 5+ years in a senior leadership role, in post-acute care market (e.g. Senior Living, Hospice, etc.)
  • Good understanding of the EMR landscape and healthcare tech ecosystem.
  • Proven success as a founding or early-stage sales leader building GTM, processes and pipeline from the ground up to build a high-growth sales engine.
  • Experience in both outbound and inbound digital marketing.
  • Track record of selling technology or SaaS solutions to healthcare organizations.
  • A strategic thinker who’s not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get tactical.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a knack for closing deals.
  • Excellent storytelling and communication chops.
  • Experience using CRM tools to drive and track growth (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc).
  • Bonus: MBA or BS in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
