Director of Plant Operations

We're looking for a hands-on Director of Plant Operations to oversee maintenance and housekeeping at our Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Alpharetta, GA. This is not a desk job - it's a leadership role for someone who leads by doing, supports their team, and takes pride in creating a clean, safe, and functional environment for residents and staff alike.

What You'll Do:

• Be the go-to problem solver for all things maintenance-HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire systems, and more

• Work alongside your team to keep apartments, equipment, and common areas in top shape

• Conduct regular walk-throughs and safety checks to identify and address issues proactively

• Schedule and oversee vendors, contractors, and inspections

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, fire codes, SDS, and other local/state regulations

• Supervise and support the housekeeping and maintenance team, including hiring, training, and scheduling

• Keep accurate records, maintain inventory, and manage work order priorities

• Lead by example-whether that's painting a wall, clearing a walkway, or troubleshooting equipment

What We're Looking For:

• A true working leader who's comfortable managing people and jumping into the job

• High school diploma required; trade school or technical degree preferred

• 3+ years of maintenance experience (preferably in senior living, hospitality, or healthcare)

• Strong knowledge of building systems, safety protocols, and repair work

• Able to lift, climb, paint, and perform physical tasks as needed

• Solid communication skills and a commitment to resident satisfaction
